Dr WONG Lan Li

I hold a bachelor's degree in chemistry and pursued graduate studies specializing in Microbiology. My research primarily focuses on understanding the composition and functional characteristics of extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) that form biofilms in pathogenic bacteria, wastewater treatment systems, and probiotic-related bacteria. Currently, my work is centered on the translational applications of these polymers, with the goal of enhancing their function and efficiency in various systems. In addition to my research, I am actively seeking collaborative opportunities and potential investors to bring to market the fermented oat drink developed at PCBiome, which aims to promote gut health through combining the goodness of fermented oat and probiotic formulation.
