BugBoom is a Singapore-based circular economy startup dedicated to transforming organic solid waste into valuable resources through innovative, science-driven solutions. Founded in 2024, BugBoom addresses the growing challenge of food and solid waste management by deploying aerobic microbial-accelerated composting machines across a range of capacities, from small-scale 5kg units to industrial 1000kg systems. Beyond composting technology, BugBoom harnesses Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL) bioconversion to produce nutrient-rich frass biofertiliser, closing the loop on organic waste streams. BugBoom also runs sustainability workshops for educational institutions, empowering students and adults with the knowledge and tools to drive meaningful environmental change.
