Biography

Dennis Low is a zero-to-one million entrepreneur whose venture journey began in Redwood City, Silicon Valley, in the late 1990s. His product development consultancy went on to receive support under the Singapore Economic Development Board’s SEEDS programme in 2005, marking an early milestone in scaling innovation-driven enterprises.

Over the course of his venture, he has delivered design and innovation solutions to Fortune 500 corporations, government agencies, and multinational enterprises across Europe, the United States, and Asia. His portfolio spans aerospace and defence, consumer electronics, medical technology, and sustainable product design. He has worked with leading global organisations including Airbus, Nestlé, Panasonic, Standard Chartered, Razer, HP, Leica Geosystems, ST Engineering, UMW, and OTO Melara.

Beyond his industry practice, Dennis contributes to thought leadership through published work on ResearchGate, which has garnered over 500 reads from scholars across international universities. His writing explores themes in entrepreneurship, innovation strategy, and sustainable design, examining how theory informs practice in venture creation. This body of work bridges academic insight with real-world commercialisation pathways, reflecting a practitioner–scholar approach grounded in both research rigour and executional experience.

He currently serves with the NTU Entrepreneurship Academy (NTUpreneur) Experiential Learning team at Nanyang Technological University. In this role, he mentors student founders from ideation through market readiness, integrating global industry experience, design-for-manufacturability expertise, and entrepreneurial frameworks to guide venture development. He emphasises cross-disciplinary collaboration, effectual thinking, and innovation mindsets that prepare students to operate in complex global markets.

At the core of his work is a commitment to developing the next generation of entrepreneurs, equipping them with the judgement, resilience, and strategic capability to transform ideas into impactful, scalable ventures.
