Ms Parvathy Krishnan Krishnakumari

Parvathy Krishnan is an AI and Data Science Specialist with over 10 years of experience developing and scaling responsible AI solutions across health, agriculture, and governance in low and middle-income countries. Currently serving as Director of Technology at Analytics for a Better World Institute in the Netherlands and as a Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Consultant for the World Bank Group, she specialises in identifying high-impact AI use cases, driving proof-of-concept experiments, and transitioning them into scalable, policy-aligned platforms. Prior to these roles, Parvathy led AI initiatives at the United Nations Development Programme and conducted research at premier research institutions such as the National University of Singapore, the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.

Parvathy holds an Engineering Doctorate in Data Science from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands, a Master of Technology in Energy Management and Climate from Jain University in India and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amrita University in India.
