Dr Sakarindr BHUMIRATANA

Dr. Sakarindr is the University Advisor and Former President of KMUTT. He was a recipient of the ASEAN Meritorious Service Award in 2005 and was accepted as a Fellow of the International Academy of Food Science and Technology in 2006 and the Petroleum Institute of Thailand Distinguished Fellow in 2012. He is the Chairman of Thailand National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Board and Ajionomoto Foundation (Thailand) Board of Directors. He is currently the Chairman of Boards for both National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), NSTDA and Thai Academy of Science and Technology Foundation (TAST). He a member of numerous important committee in Thailand including The Education Reform Committee, Board of Higher Education Commission, National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) and others. He received his education entirely in the USA including High School, BSc & BEng (UC Davis) and PhD (University of Wisconsin-Madison).
