Prof Lim has extensive experience in Aviation Safety, MRO operations and training. He taught courses ranging from SAR66 to undergraduates and Masters programs.
Worked in technical and management positions in Singapore Airlines and SIA Engineering Company covering Base Maintenance, Technical Services, Workshops, Technical Projects, Inflight Entertainment, Line Maintenance, Quality & Safety and Productivity & Engineering Training.
He chaired the Aero WSQ Technical Committee responsible for validating more than 70 Aero WSQ modules. He is certified by Gordon Dupont (System Safety Services) to deliver Human Factors Training for aircraft maintenance personnel.
Served as Authority Member of CAAS (2009 – 2017), Adj Associate Professor in NTU and sat on advisory councils of NUS, NTU, Ngee Ann and Temasek Polytechnics.
