Dr Zoey Ying ZHOU

Dr. Zhou Ying obtained her Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2012, her expertise lies in process automation for chemical plants, with extensive experience in process control, system integration, image processing, statistical data analysis, pattern recognition, process analytical technology (PAT), life cycle assessment (LCA), and life cycle costing (LCC). From year 2013 to 2016, She completed three cradle-to-grave LCA and LCC studies for a major international chemical company, with all assessment reports undergoing third-party panel review. She also developed a systematic methodology to bridge the gaps between pilot plant operation and life cycle inventory (LCI) development. In recent years, her work has focused on emerging renewable energy technologies, where she evaluates their potential environmental performance based on commercial-scale process development.
