Nongnuch Poolsawad has joined the Technology and Informatics Institute for Sustainability (TIIS), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) since 2014 as a researcher. Her research interests include the multidisciplinary approach of environment and sustainability, mainly on recording, processing, classifying and prediction using computational and statistical techniques with related software. Data analytics is the major area of her study and research which focuses on the development of effective model and selection method to improve the prediction accuracy based on understandings of environmental data including resource use, emissions profile, consumption pattern, and lifestyle behaviour.
Her works focus on SCP. First, we work on the assessment of environmental impact and sustainability to support the farmer to change from monoculture to agroforestry and then sustainability, also provide science-based information for the government sector for supporting the policy. She works on national food loss and food waste indices. Also, that she works on the integration of the CE metrics in sustainable agriculture and food, building materials and construction, community and city, and lifestyle for evaluating Thailand situation and supporting the transition to CE in Thailand.
