Biography
Dr. Pongruktham received Ph.D in Biological Science from the University of Mississippi (UM) in 2012. For nearly 20 years, she has worked in environmental management, sustainable development, environmental education and international coordination, especially in the areas of conservation, sustainable development and public-private engagement.
She has worked with several international organizations such as University of Mississippi, U.S. Army Corps of Engineer, International Health and Policy Program (IHPP), World Wildlife Fund (WWF), International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and Global Initiatives.
Currently, she is working as a Secretariat for and lead implementation of Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD) initiatives, Secretariat of Public Private Partnership for Plastic and Waste Management (PPP-Plastics), Project managers/advisors at Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) and Project Coordinator at ADB.
